Owned and led by husband-and-wife team Mark and Shelly, the business is shaped by decades of personal experience. Having lived in six countries and moved home more than fifteen times, they understand just how important the right guidance and support are when turning a house into a home you truly love.

Showroom Team
Shelly leads the Schmidt Warrington team and draws on her long career in customer care to ensure that the business delivers the best customer experience, every time. For Shelly, communication is the key and building long-term customer relationships is her passion. She guides the business and her team to make sure every customer’s project is fully managed from initial design to installation and beyond.
Mark spent 35 years as a senior executive in sales, marketing, after-sales and finance roles in the motor industry. Working for seven automotive brands in 5 different countries, he specialised in providing car owners with the best automotive products and services. Now, supporting Shelly, he’s helping to provide homeowners with the best products and services in home design.
Originally from Hungary, Boglarka moved to the UK in 2012. A graduate in Interior Design and Architecture, she began her career working for the Schmidt showroom in Brentwood, Essex. When she relocated to the Midlands in April 2024, she joined the Schmidt Warrington showroom. Deeply passionate about customer care and beautifully designed kitchens, she’s become a very accomplished designer.
Ted, the Australian Labradoodle has become the star of Knowle High Street! Customers and their children regularly drop into the Schmidt Warrington showroom just to give him some fuss. He was born in the USA, and has lived in six other countries but now he’s happy to have settled down in the UK and just loves the kitchen and interior solutions business!
